Pharmaceutical Global Company seeks for a LATAM Payroll Specialist.
The main responsibilities are to:
Ensure payrolls and time tracking are processed accurately, timely and in accordance with country local requirementsEnsure all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periodsComplete month end payroll activities-preparing journals, accruals and Balance Sheet reconciliationsEnsure that monthly and yearly local tax payments and compliance requirements are metEnsure sufficient controls are in place and implemented to capture changes month on monthand any differences are reconciled and explainedSchedule, facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentationsProvide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g. Inland Revenue, etc.Prepare employee and payroll tax paymentsCreate and maintain control documentation, process flows and proceduresWork with other HR functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of informationWork with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees e.g. expatriate, international assignments & equityWork with internal and external audit to ensurethe integrity of the payroll informationEnsure a consistent focus and involvement in driving efficiencies and process improvements
College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related.Minimum of 2 years of experience with multinational companies. Pharmaceutical industry (Desirable).Mexico and region payroll experienceFinancial accounting exposure up to Balance sheetKnowledge and application of payroll principles, concepts and industry practices and standards - desirableCIPP/IPASS certification desirableEquity and Mobility exposure - desirableUnderstanding of following procedures and HR practicesTo be able to understand the importance of escalating issues that sit beyond the scope of the role.Second language essential - English
Location: Santa Fé.
Compensation: 26,000-40,000 per month + law benefits.
