 IT Desktop Service Analyst Job Description: The DSM IT Analyst will be a member of the Desktop Systems Management (DSM) organization stationed in Guadalajara, Mexico location. Analyst is responsible for providing on site and remote desktop support services for a complex Contract Manufacturing and Shipping environment consisting of Windows based systems, and VMware software running virtual Windows images.  
 
In addition, the Analyst is expected to provide remote support to Mexico City site consisting of Windows based systems. Analyst is expected to work aspart of a cross functional team providing 24/6 critical shipping operational support.
 
Occasional travel to the Mexico City office will be required. Required Skills & Experience: Experience working in warehouse, shipping and/or contract manufacturing environment
? Advanced knowledge/experience with Windows 7 providing desktop/laptop hardware & software break/fix support to a Contract Manufacturing and Shipping user base? Advanced knowledge/experience in remote troubleshooting? Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and group policy? Sound understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS,WINS)? Experience in providing hardware/software support in a virtual windows environment? Experience supporting thin clients, multi-function network/label printers, and hand scanners (wired/wireless)? Knowledge of Oracle modules such as Order Management (OM), Shipping, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Mobile Supply Chain Application (MSCA)? Experience with Root Cause Analysis of desktop/laptop (OS and applications) issues? Proven ability to clearly document and communicate technical information across a wide audience of technical and non-technical skills & experience? Experience working in a Global Corporate, fast paced environment? Strong analytical and problem solving skills? Strong work ethic and flexible working hours to accommodate critical activity? Possess Cultural awareness and sensitivity? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral & written? Proficient in the English language, both oral/writtenAdditional Skills & Experience: Knowledge of Service Now ticket management system? Familiar with Oracle E-Business Suite? Knowledge/Familiar with of PL-SQL development (Packages, Procedures, Triggers, Views, Alerts)? Experience with Symbol and Datalogic Handheld Scanners (wired/wireless)? Experience with Zebra label printers? At least 2-3 years' experience in providing hardware/software support in a virtual windows environment? Knowledge of telecom systems (installation, troubleshooting, voicemail, audio-conferencing)? Familiar with ITIL processes and procedures
}Education/Certifications:? B. Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with 5-7 years of experience providing desktop services within a Global corporate Windows environment? CompTIA A+ Certification (desirable)? VDI/VMware v6.0 training (desirable)? ITIL foundation (desirable)
