Experience: ? Minimum 7 years of experience in Production, Quality Assurance and Quality Systems, ? Continuous Improvement. ? Preference knowledge in Tier 1- sequencing customer delivery methods. ? Automotive Industry. ? Previous experience in front-line supervision with emphasis on "pro team" environment ? Metal-Mechanics Manufacture Processes. ? Problems Analysis and Solutions. ? Knowledge ISO-14001, ISO/TS-16949 audits ? PPAP / APQP / MSA/ AMEF.
Basic Purpose: - This position will be responsible for guiding the production operators through the daily operations of the facility. Will lead the crew in achieving its goals by administering training, job assignments and ensuring business policies regarding safety, quality and customer satisfaction are carried out. - Supervisor fosters a team environment and encourages open communication from the operators, listening to operators, removing any obstacles and providing the necessary tools to help them achieve targeted metrics for safety, production volume and quality of the product. - Assure cross training for all operators to know every single position
Principal Accountabilities Dimensions (Complete, if applicable) Manage around 25 to 40 hourly people. Considering 2 shifts. ? Efficiently eliminate production or set-up delays. ? Interface with different support areas to confirm investigation of breakdowns, root cause analysis and execution of measures to eliminate or reduce possibility of recurrence of failures. ? Ensure plant safety rules, regulations, initiatives and precautions are understood and adhered to by all employees under his/her supervision. ? Perform weekly safety audit throughout production areas. ? Design and implement production related training and education programs in production areas. ? Follows and promotes company policies to operate in a union-free environment ? Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels on the status of operations and any upcoming needs staffing, training, coaching, positive discipline system, inbound, outbound, shortages, customer spec, internal quality, manufacturing defects ? Prepare all necessary forms and documentation to monitor and guide group performance or individual performance ? Fostering Teamwork - Works with others both as a leader and a team member towards shared goals related to business objectives. Provides resources to the team, does what is promised, shares information with the team, supports team decisions, and recognizes team contributions. ? Quality and Continual Improvement - Is aware of and understands AOT's Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they affect his/her job. Contributes substantially to AOT's CI initiatives related to revenue enhancement, cost reduction, process improvement, waste elimination, and more.
